2016 Week 8 NFL Bets

Bad week last week. No getting around that. Did win a small bet on the Blazers opening night at -6 over the Jazz, but this is a football post. Onward to the 2016 Week 8 NFL bets.

Season: 8-9, -1 unit

Week 7: 1-4, -2.5 units

Patriots (-6) @ Bills (0.5 units): Being at Buffalo scares me. A lot. Luckily, the Bills are short Sammy Watkins, and likely LeSean McCoy. I have faith the Pats can win by a TD.

Chiefs (-2.5) @ Colts (0.5 units): I think the Chiefs are the better team, but again, sometimes they don’t show up on the road. If KC was at home, this would be a 1.5 unit bet.

Cardinals (+3) @ Panthers (1 unit): Tough place to play, and the Panthers are off a bye, but I think David Johnson alone makes the difference here. Fitz should also destroy the Panthers ‘secondary’. The Cards D is no joke either, and I think Newton will have to do it all himself if Peterson shadows Benjamin.

Vikings (-4.5) @ Bears (1 unit): The Vikings biggest negative is their o-line. You saw that last week. This could be a slog without Jerick Mckinnon, but it’s the Bears. With Jay Cutler coming back. Against the Vikings D. The offense has to manage the game and not turn it over like last week, and this is a win.
